AHS Inspection and
Mare Performance Test, July 16, 2007 at
Hilton Farm
This year our judges were:
Suzanne Quarles, Dr. Werner Schade and
learner judge John Gillien. Inspection
registration and record of scores were kept
by Hugh Bellis-Jones.

Society. The event was held at Hilton
Farm in Somerset, Virginia but was co-hosted
by Marefield Meadows of Warrenton,
Virginia. Our thanks go out to Marefield
Meadows for the delicious lunch and much
needed drinks. We had a very warm but
wonderful day. Clouds loomed overhead but
the rain held off until after all facets of
the inspection were finished and all foals
were branded.

selected as best filly. Congratulations

VA.
9 Hanoverian mares were presented for
inspection this year with 4 completing their
mare performance test.
Top Mare of the MPT was Rimini, sired by
ES Rienzi out of EM Decuma. Congratulations
to owner/breeder MAREFIELD MEADOWS and rider
Erin Sweeney.
Royce (Ruiz Soler x EM Papagena by Pablo)
was top mare in the mare inspection with an
overall "8". Congratulations to
owner/breeder MAREFIELD MEADOWS.

2006 Liberty Gold colt Limmerik out of EM
Pik Primadonna by Palladium was chosen 'best colt' by the
judges. Congratulations owner/breeder
Amy Gadsden.
2006 filly Liberty Bell owned and bred by
Mike Anello. She was chosen 'best filly' at
the 2006 Hilton Farm Inspection. Liberty
Bell is by Liberty Gold out of Gaylena by
Golf Club.
The day began with the free jumping
portion of the Mare Performance Test. High
Scoring Mare of the performance test was
O'Susanna, by Riverman out of Calliope (Corvado
x Capitano), owned and bred by Kim Schmidt.
O'Susanna was presented under saddle by Parker
Schmidt.
Champion Hanoverian mare was Ryka by
Regazonni out
of EM Daconda by Davignon, owned by Rebecca
Cohen and Bred by Christine Mueller.
Champion Non-Hanoverian mare O'Susannah
by Riverman out of Calliope by Corvado.
