Register Now! 2017 AHS Mare & Foal & Futurity Inspection

Hilton Farm and Willow Hill Equestrian Ltd., along with Marefield Meadows will be participating as a Host Site for the 2017 AHS Summer Inspection Tour to be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017.

Potential participants should register their entry with the AHS directly.   Hilton Farm's stabling request form which contains useful event information is available from the AHS site, but needs to be submitted directly to Hilton Farm since payment for stalls must be made at time of reservation. Stall space is limited!

Out of town participants may want to call the Holiday Inn at 540-672-6691 for reservations.  A block of rooms are being held by Hilton Farm for your convenience.

We wish all our customers and participants a successful foaling season and look forward to seeing many of you in July!







Liberty Gold's Legacy Continues with Willow Hill Equestrian, LTD

Hilton Farm and the Fuchs' family are pleased to announce that Sarah Doyle of Willow Hill Equestrian, LTD is the new owner of Liberty Gold. This champion stallion was imported by Otto Fuchs and brought to Hilton Farm in 2005.   Liberty Gold's legacy of producing fabulous offspring will continue under their management.  Hilton Farm is confident that customer's interested in breeding to Liberty Gold in 2017 and beyond will continue to receive quality service.


Emily and "Pete"

Emily Morris, one of Hilton Farm's dearest customers' from Avella, PA sent Hilton Farm this youtube video of her HF offsping "Pete" Poseidon HF.  Emily comments: "He's fussy at first then wow!! Hilton Farm would like to Thank everyone who helped make this day a success. A special thanks to our judges Dr. Ludwig Christmann and George Walker and learner judge Verne Batchelder.


 Hilton Farm's Own Laurie sired by Liberty Gold out of EM Lucy was one of the four mares presented and scored a 7.16 making her Elite Mare Eligible and studbook accepted.

Three other  Hanoverian mares were presented for Inspection with a high scoring mare honors being presented to Valerie Fox's Balouette du Rouet (Balou du Rouet - Rio Grande) For more photos from the event including the high scoring mare see:


Hilton Farm's own Donna Darius (Don Darius - Liberty Gold) was presented in the Mare Performance Test by Sarah Doyle (Willow Hill Equestrian, LTD) and became an Elite Mare Candidate!


Congratulations to the following Futurity Entries: 2-Year Old Filly:  Layla LV -Owner:  Benette Clinton;    2- Year Old Colts/Geldings:  De Grand Debut FFF - Owner: Susan Forester;  Yearling: Free Agent Owner- Celia Rafalko. Well Done!

Twelve Foals were presented to the judges represented by the stallions Ampere, Antibes, Chicardo, Contratto, Don Principe, Furst Impression, Lagoheider, Negro, Qredit Hilltop, Wild Dance, and Viva Voltaire.

Three Foals stood out for the judges and those were Rebecca Arnold's filly by Furst Impression and out of Davignport daughter Dabria;  Valerie Fox's jumper-bred colt by stallion Viva Voltaire and out of the high scoring Hanoverian Mare Balouette du Rouet; and Linda Sommer's dressage-bred Ampere colt out of the Quarterback daughter Quiabella.



In Passing: A Thank You to Hilton Farm's Friends and Neighbors

Hilton Farm wishes to thank all those who have expressed their condolences on the passing of Mr. Otto Fuchs, owner of Hilton Farm and long time importer and breeder of the Hanoverian line.  His love of the breed and dedication to producing high quality Hanoverians is remarkable and noted among many in the Hanoverian community in both the United States and Germany. Mr. Fuchs will be missed by all who knew him.
